Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bar Chart with Variation % Power BI custom visual ("the Visual"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Visual.

2. License Tiers

The Visual is available in two tiers:

Free Tier

Bars with variation % labels, arrows and connectors
Up to 3 Small Multiple panels
Default, negative and series colours
Tooltips, cross-filtering, highlighting
Panel titles, backgrounds, axis labels, legend
Horizontal and vertical scroll
Sort order (ascending / descending)
High contrast pattern
No watermark

Pro Tier

All Free tier features
Up to 100 Small Multiple panels
Analytical lines and reference band
Value labels on bars
Per-bar colours

3. License Grant

TCViz grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Visual within Microsoft Power BI for personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms and the applicable tier limitations.

The Pro tier license is validated through the official Microsoft AppSource licensing system. One active AppSource subscription is required per user.

While a report is being edited without a licence, Pro features may be shown as a preview under a "Pro preview" watermark. In reading view and published reports they are not applied without an active licence.

4. Restrictions

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Visual; (b) redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Visual; (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices or watermarks within the Visual; (d) use the Visual in any way that violates applicable laws or Microsoft's Power BI terms of service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Visual, including all code, design, and documentation, is the exclusive property of TCViz (Tino Callarisa). All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Visual is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TCViz does not warrant that the Visual will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TCViz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Visual.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

TCViz reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Visual after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
