Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I only seeing 3 categories?
The Free tier is limited to 3 categories. Upgrade to Pro via Microsoft AppSource to unlock unlimited categories.
How does the variation % calculation work?
The visual calculates the percentage variation between consecutive series within each category using: ((B − A) / |A|) × 100. For single-series charts, it compares consecutive categories left to right.
How do I change bar colors per series?
In the Format pane, open Series Colors. Each series has its own color picker. You can also set a global default and negative bar color under Bar Settings.
How do I activate my Pro license?
Purchase the Pro license on Microsoft AppSource. Once your subscription is active, the visual detects it automatically the next time you open or refresh your report — no additional steps required.
The visual is not rendering. What should I check?
Make sure at least the Axis and Values fields are populated. If the issue persists, try re-importing the .pbiviz file or contact us at support@tcviz.com.
