Flow Chart is a Power BI custom visual developed and published by TCViz (Tino Callarisa) and distributed through Microsoft AppSource. For privacy questions, write to support@tcviz.com.
The visual receives only what you place in its field wells: the grouping values in Levels and Swimlane, and the measures in Value, Target, Level images and Tooltip fields. That data is used to build and render the diagram on screen. It is not read, stored, transmitted or logged by TCViz.
The Level images field well accepts base64 image strings that already exist in your data model. The visual renders them inline. It does not fetch images from URLs, and no image is uploaded, cached outside the report, or sent anywhere.
Your formatting choices — colours, node size, spacing, number format, swimlane bands and the rest — are saved by Power BI inside your report file, on your own storage: OneDrive, SharePoint or the Power BI Service. TCViz has no access to them.
To tell Free from Pro, the visual calls Microsoft's official licensing API
(IVisualLicenseManager) and asks whether the current account has an active plan. The call goes
to Microsoft's licensing infrastructure, not to any TCViz server. It runs asynchronously, off the rendering
path, and falls back to Free if it cannot be completed. TCViz receives nothing from it.
Through this visual, TCViz collects none of the following:
The visual makes exactly one kind of outbound call: the licence check to Microsoft described above. There
are no other network requests, no calls to TCViz servers, and no third-party scripts. The visual does not
write to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies or any other browser storage.
Flow Chart is distributed through Microsoft AppSource and runs inside Microsoft Power BI. Microsoft's own privacy practices govern those platforms; see privacy.microsoft.com.
Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Microsoft through the marketplace. TCViz does not process payment information or manage subscriptions.
Flow Chart is a professional business analytics tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
