1. Acceptance

By installing or using Tile Grid Map Pro ("the Visual"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Visual.

2. License

TCViz grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Visual within Microsoft Power BI in accordance with these terms and your AppSource subscription.

Square tile grids for all 27 supported countries and regions
Up to 500 data points per visual
Fixed sequential colour scale
Value aggregation: Sum, Average, Count, Min, Max
Conditional formatting (3 rules), tooltips (up to 10 fields), cell labels and legend
Accessibility options, high contrast, cross-filtering and multi-selection

Pro tier Subscription

Unlimited data points (up to the Power BI data reduction limit of 30,000 rows)
Custom TopoJSON boundaries — load any TopoJSON file by drag-and-drop or public HTTPS URL, and render real polygons instead of tiles
Boundaries persisted inside the .pbix report file
Custom colour scales: user-defined sequential, diverging (min/mid/max) and categorical palettes
Priority support

Requires an active subscription purchased through Microsoft AppSource. License status is validated via Microsoft's official IVisualLicenseManager API.

3. Restrictions

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Visual; (b) redistribute or resell the Visual; (c) use the Visual for any unlawful purpose; (d) attempt to circumvent license enforcement mechanisms.

5. User-supplied boundary files

The Pro tier allows you to load your own TopoJSON boundary files. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights to use any such file, and for complying with the licence terms of its source. TCViz does not host, distribute, validate, or assume any responsibility for user-supplied geographic data.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Visual is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. TCViz does not warrant that the Visual will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCViz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Visual.

8. Map data accuracy

Bundled tile grid layouts are stylised, schematic representations intended for data visualisation only. They are deliberately not geographically accurate: each region is drawn as an equally sized tile so that values can be compared without area bias. They must not be used for navigation, surveying, legal boundary determination, or any purpose requiring cartographic accuracy. TCViz makes no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any geographic data, bundled or user-supplied.

9. Changes to terms

TCViz may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Visual after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
