Dynamic Matrix Heatmap — a Power BI custom visual by TCViz · Last updated: 3 August 2026
By installing or using Dynamic Matrix Heatmap (the "visual") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
TCViz grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the visual inside Microsoft Power BI, for as long as these terms are respected. You may use it in commercial reports, in as many reports as you like, and share those reports with your colleagues and clients.
The visual is fully functional at no cost within the Free limits below. Pro is a paid licence sold through Microsoft AppSource and unlocks the remaining capabilities.

Entitlement is resolved through Microsoft's official IVisualLicenseManager API. TCViz
runs no licence server and receives no data. If the check cannot complete, the visual falls back to
the Free tier rather than failing.
Pro licences are sold, billed and supported commercially by Microsoft through AppSource. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Microsoft's Marketplace Terms of Use and handled by Microsoft, not by TCViz.
You keep all rights to your data. The visual processes it only in memory to render the matrix, and transmits nothing. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
The visual re-aggregates values when projecting a multi-dimension result onto the two dimensions
you select. Sum, Minimum, Maximum and Count re-aggregate exactly. Average is an unweighted
approximation. A distinct count produced by a DAX measure cannot be re-aggregated correctly
by any client — use the Distinct count of field well, where the visual counts unique
values from the raw column and the result is exact. You are responsible for validating figures
before relying on them for decisions.
The visual is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. TCViz does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will work with every dataset or every future version of Power BI.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCViz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the visual. Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim.
Support is provided on a best-effort basis through GitHub issues and by email. Response times are not guaranteed under either tier.
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. It also ends if your Pro subscription lapses, at which point the visual reverts to the Free tier — your reports keep working, with Pro features switched off. You may stop using the visual at any time.
TCViz may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the changelog. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
